What you’ll do
- Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Translate complex blockchain concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging user interfaces.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize user flows and screen layouts.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and usability testing results.
- Ensure consistency across different screens and components.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs that align with the brand identity and project goals.
- Choose appropriate color schemes, typography, and iconography.
- Pay attention to details such as spacing, alignment, and responsiveness.
- Implement UI designs using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with blockchain APIs.
- Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Understand blockchain concepts (e.g., smart contracts, decentralized applications) and their impact on user interfaces.
- Design interfaces that interact seamlessly with blockchain networks.
- Visualize transaction history, wallet balances, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of UI components.
- Work closely with product teams to align design with business goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging UI/UX best practices.
What you need to be successful
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, computer science, or related fields.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in UI/UX design (e.g., UX/UI Design Bootcamp) are a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and real-world projects.
- Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Microsoft Technologies: Consider integrating Power Apps for rapid application development and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Design Tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar.
- Version Control: Git.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
- Experience with blockchain wallets and transaction interfaces.
- Knowledge of interaction design principles.
