What you’ll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective blockchain solutions.
- Architect end-to-end blockchain systems, considering security, scalability, and performance.
- Evaluate existing blockchain frameworks and propose enhancements or customizations as needed.
- Ensure smart contracts are secure, audited, and free from vulnerabilities.
- Implement best practices for secure coding, including input validation, access control, and error handling.
- Design and implement blockchain network topologies, including consensus mechanisms, peer nodes, and orders.
- Optimize network performance and latency.
- Address scalability challenges and propose solutions.
- Work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, and decentralized applications.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and protocols.
What you need to be successful
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a solution architect, with a focus on blockchain technologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in blockchain (such as Certified Blockchain Architect) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts related to blockchain, including consensus algorithms, data privacy, and tokenization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain services.
- Blockchain Expertise:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technology Stacks:
- Blockchain Platforms: Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Binance Smart Chain.
- Smart Contract Languages: Solidity, Vyper.
- Consensus Mechanisms: Proof of Work (PoW), Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT), Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS).
- Interoperability Protocols: Polkadot, Cosmos, Interledger Protocol (ILP).
- Security Tools: MythX, Securify, Slither.
- DevOps and Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
