What you’ll do
- Administer and maintain Proxmox clusters for local virtualization
- Deploy and manage applications across multiple cloud platforms including Vercel, Digital Ocean, Vultr.com, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Build and configure virtual machines on Ubuntu and RedHat systems
- Install, configure, and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Deploy and run serverless AI applications and lambda functions both locally and in the cloud
- Implement and maintain observability solutions using Elastic Stack or Open Distro for Elastic Search
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Create and manage automated deployment scripts using Ansible
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and optimize Python ASGI applications
What you need to be successful
- Proven experience with Proxmox virtualization technology
- Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Vultr, Vercel)
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration, particularly Ubuntu and RedHat
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with serverless and lambda architectures
- Familiarity with Python ASGI applications
- Knowledge of Elastic Stack or Open Distro for Elastic Search
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills
- Proficiency with Ansible for automation and deployment
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) - preferred qualification
- Experience with AI and machine learning deployments - preferred qualification
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) - preferred qualification
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - preferred qualification
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
