  • Fail fast, learn fast: we experiment, we iterate, we know when to stop and we don't repeat the same mistakes.
  • The right technology stack for the right problem: we don't force technology choices just because we know them; our focus is on solving problems, not on pushing predefined stacks.

#Innovation

Why do we do what we do?

We inspire one another to share our tech-works in this amazing and abundant world. So we became developers, innovators, thinkers, software builders, and hardware makers!

Our Vision!

Founded in 2006 with 650+ engineers & global presence (8 delivery centers in Europe & North America) we strive to become a leading East-European technology partner for growing organizations in need of digital transformation of their products and services!

What you’ll do

  • Work alongside the senior DataStage engineer to support IBM DataStage services and ETL platform operations, including job monitoring, investigation of common failures, log collection, execution of documented recovery procedures, deployment assistance and service validation after releases, patching or maintenance.
  • Monitor the health, availability and capacity of Data Lake and Data Warehouse services across production and non-production environments, follow established procedures and escalate anomalies promptly.
  • Handle day-to-day operational incidents with guidance from the senior engineer: triage issues, collect diagnostic information, execute approved recovery step, communicate progress clearly and contribute evidence to root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assist the senior engineer with DataStage and Red Hat Linux patching and maintenance activities, including preparation, documented checks, service and process validation, log review, filesystem and resource monitoring, certificate tracking and post-maintenance verification.
  • Perform approved operational Oracle activities on Exadata, including database health checks, alert review, tablespace monitoring, user and schema administration, backup-status validation, basic SQL investigations and assisted Data Pump schema refreshes using documented procedures.
  • Escalate complex database issues, performance tuning, RMAN operations, AWR interpretation and recovery activities to senior DBAs, providing clear evidence and context.
  • Create and improve small operational scripts using Shell and, where appropriate, Python; contribute to existing GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps pipelines through reviewed changes and testing.
  • Use Grafana dashboards and alerts to identify service degradation, support infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, and keep runbooks, recovery procedures and support documentation accurate.
  • Create and implement low-risk ServiceNow changes with review and approval; contribute to Incident, Problem and Change Management; document actions and outcomes clearly; and support audit, compliance, risk and security activities.

What you need to be successful

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or another relevant technical field.
  • One to two years of professional experience in a DevOps role, with practical involvement in production or platform operations.
  • Basic familiarity with Linux command-line environments and a willingness to develop operational Linux skills through guided, hands-on work.
  • Basic scripting ability in Shell and an interest in improving operational tasks through safe, maintainable automation.
  • Foundational SQL and relational-database knowledge. Experience with Oracle, database monitoring, user or schema administration, or Data Pump is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of monitoring, incident handling, version control and CI/CD concepts. Practical exposure to Grafana, ServiceNow, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
  • A structured troubleshooting mindset, attention to detail, willingness to follow controls and procedures, and motivation to learn from feedback and operational experience.
  • Basic knowledge of ETL concepts and practical exposure to IBM DataStage or a comparable ETL platform.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Oracle Exadata, Python, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Data Lake or Data Warehouse concepts, Agile/DevOps delivery or AI-assisted engineering tools.
