Why rinf.tech?
#EngineerOfTheFuture, #PeopleofManyTalents
- At rinf.tech, you’ll encounter friendly people who are eager to explore and reinvent the world of technology.
- We encourage ideas - we like to share and learn from each other. We’re all in for curious & ambitious people.
#GrowOpportunities
- We continuously invest in developing core teams focused on technologies like Blockchain, AI, and IoT - www.rinf.tech/careers/core-blockchain-and-ai-teams/
- Our Technical Management team, possesses a robust technical background. Many of our team members have advanced to strategic roles through internal promotions.
- In a state of mutual willingness to share & grow, our RINFers commit to a minimum tenure of 2.5 years on a project.
#EngineeringExcellence
- Fail fast, learn fast: we experiment, we iterate, we know when to stop and we don't repeat the same mistakes.
- The right technology stack for the right problem: we don't force technology choices just because we know them; our focus is on solving problems, not on pushing predefined stacks.
#Innovation
- Adapta Robotics is a successful spin-off born through an R&D project within rinf.tech www.adaptarobotics.com/
Why do we do what we do?
We inspire one another to share our tech-works in this amazing and abundant world. So we became developers, innovators, thinkers, software builders, and hardware makers!
Our Vision!
Founded in 2006 with 650+ engineers & global presence (8 delivery centers in Europe & North America) we strive to become a leading East-European technology partner for growing organizations in need of digital transformation of their products and services!
What you’ll do
- Current-State Architecture & Discovery
- Lead discovery across SAP and non-SAP source systems, archival interfaces, processing/abstraction layers, repositories, physical storage and retrieval paths.
- Treat existing diagrams as a starting hypothesis; validate the as-built landscape through SMEs, vendors, configurations and operational evidence.
- Maintain a clear view of confirmed facts, assumptions, unknowns, legacy dependencies and transition components.
- Data, Repository & Dependency Mapping
- Define where document binaries, metadata, indexes and business references reside and how they are linked across platforms.
- Map major archive populations by repository, technology, age/date range, country/business area, usage status, retention constraints and retrieval dependency.
- Identify critical dependencies between SAP/non-SAP producers, ArchiveLink or custom integrations, middleware, FileNet/PBS/Centera/Dell EMC and future GCP WORM storage.
- Ownership & Multi-Vendor Governance
- Create the technical ownership/RACI model covering business owner, data owner, application owner, operations, infrastructure, storage, legal/compliance and vendor responsibilities.
- Expose ownership gaps, duplicated responsibilities, vendor lock-in and key-person dependencies across internal teams and external providers.
- Act as the end-to-end technical coordination point where no single vendor owns the whole archival service.
- Risk, Stabilization & Architecture Decisions
- Identify architectural risks: unsupported technology, undocumented integrations, hidden point-to-point links, repository duplication, weak monitoring, unclear recovery and fragile metadata/reference chains.
- Prioritize stabilization needs by business impact, compliance impact, likelihood and remediation complexity.
- Drive architecture decision records and ensure technical recommendations are evidence-based and feasible.
- Target & Transitional Architecture
- Define the target archival service across SAP/non-SAP ingestion, archival interfaces, metadata/reference management, immutable storage, retrieval, monitoring, security and resilience.
- Design a realistic transition architecture for coexistence between legacy repositories and GCP WORM, including read-only legacy scenarios and staged migration.
- Avoid a storage-only transformation; ensure the target covers the complete archive lifecycle and preserves retrievability and auditability.
- onsolidation, Migration & Business Case
- Determine which components/data populations should be retained, migrated, consolidated, modernized, made read-only or decommissioned.
- Define migration principles and sequencing based on legal retention, dependency, risk, volume, cost and business criticality.
- Provide architecture input to the business case covering cloud/storage, licensing, vendor support, dual-running, migration effort and decommissioning opportunity.
What you need to be successful
- Senior Enterprise Architect with strong experience in complex legacy integration, data/ECM landscapes, cloud modernization and multi-vendor transformation.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration and enterprise archival/content-management concepts; experience with ArchiveLink, FileNet, PBS/Centera, Dell EMC or GCP is highly desirable.
- Able to work with incomplete/contradictory information, challenge vendor assumptions and translate technical findings into governance, roadmap and investment decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management across application, infrastructure, storage, legal/compliance, country teams and external providers.
