Why rinf.tech?

#EngineerOfTheFuture, #PeopleofManyTalents

  • At rinf.tech, you’ll encounter friendly people who are eager to explore and reinvent the world of technology.
  • We encourage ideas - we like to share and learn from each other. We’re all in for curious & ambitious people.

#GrowOpportunities

  • We continuously invest in developing core teams focused on technologies like Blockchain, AI, and IoT -  www.rinf.tech/careers/core-blockchain-and-ai-teams/
  • Our Technical Management team, possesses a robust technical background. Many of our team members have advanced to strategic roles through internal promotions.
  • In a state of mutual willingness to share & grow, our RINFers commit to a minimum tenure of 2.5 years on a project.

#EngineeringExcellence

  • Fail fast, learn fast: we experiment, we iterate, we know when to stop and we don't repeat the same mistakes.
  • The right technology stack for the right problem: we don't force technology choices just because we know them; our focus is on solving problems, not on pushing predefined stacks.

#Innovation

Why do we do what we do?

We inspire one another to share our tech-works in this amazing and abundant world. So we became developers, innovators, thinkers, software builders, and hardware makers!

Our Vision!

Founded in 2006 with 650+ engineers & global presence (8 delivery centers in Europe & North America) we strive to become a leading East-European technology partner for growing organizations in need of digital transformation of their products and services!

What you’ll do

  • Hands-On Technical Discovery
  • Investigate configurations, repository definitions, interfaces, endpoints, jobs, connectors, logs, monitoring and support procedures with the relevant internal and vendor teams.
  • Validate deployed reality against available architecture documentation and identify undocumented or obsolete components.
  • Capture technology/version, runtime ownership, access dependencies and technical SMEs for each critical component.
  • End-to-End Archival & Retrieval Tracing
  • Trace representative archival flows from source system through processing/integration layers to archive repository and physical storage.
  • Trace retrieval in reverse: business/document reference to archive lookup, repository, physical content and successful document return.
  • Record protocol, authentication, data/document format, metadata exchanged, document identifiers, retries, error handling and monitoring for each critical flow.
  • Repository & Integration Inventory
  • Build the technical inventory of repositories, storage endpoints, archive populations, date ranges, approximate volumes/counts, metadata/index locations and active/read-only status.
  • Catalogue ArchiveLink/SOA, APIs, ABAP/custom, sFTP, file, email, scanning, batch and proprietary vendor integrations.
  • Document the confidence level where precise inventory data cannot yet be obtained.
  • Operational Risk & Stabilization
  • Identify recurring failures, broken monitoring, unsupported software, certificate/access risks, storage/capacity issues, fragile jobs, manual recovery and unclear escalation paths.
  • Recommend and, where agreed, coordinate low-risk/high-value stabilization actions; larger remediation items feed the Phase 2 backlog.
  • Identify key-person/retiring-SME knowledge and convert it into reusable technical documentation and runbooks.
  • Architecture & Migration Feasibility Support
  • Provide technical evidence for Enterprise Architect decisions: confirm whether components are still used, how references/indexes are preserved, and whether retirement or migration is technically realistic.
  • Assess extraction methods, APIs/tools, export formats, metadata availability, mapping constraints, throughput, integrity validation and vendor tooling.
  • Validate target requirements for GCP WORM/object storage, encryption, connectivity, access management, monitoring, resilience and retention-lock behavior.
  • Operational Readiness Foundations
  • Prepare the technical basis for future rinf takeover: monitoring catalogue, incident flows, dependency maps, configuration documentation, access matrix, recovery procedures and known-error catalogue.
  • Support structured knowledge transfer using observe → shadow → reverse-shadow principles in Phase 2.
  • Ensure archival and legal/audit retrieval procedures can be executed across both current and legacy repositories.

What you need to be successful

  • Technical Lead experience with strong enterprise integration and application/infrastructure troubleshooting experience across complex distributed environments.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP landscapes, archival/document-management platforms, APIs/file transfer/batch integration, networking, authentication/certificates, monitoring and enterprise storage.
  • Hands-on exposure to ArchiveLink/SOA Manager, FileNet, PBS/Centera, Dell EMC, GCP/object storage or archive migration tooling is highly desirable.
  • Able to work across vendors and technical domains, follow a document end-to-end, and turn fragmented SME knowledge into clear technical evidence and operational procedures.
