What you’ll do

• The goal of this project is to build a greenfield platform that integrates data from multiple sources, enriches it with business context, and transforms it into capabilities that improve business processes within the Transportation domain.
• The architecture has not been defined yet, the technology stack is still being shaped, and the team will be built from the ground up. The first few months will focus on understanding the business, running discovery workshops with stakeholders, and defining the technical direction, with the objective of delivering an MVP/PoC within approximately six months.
• This is the kind of opportunity where you'll shape the technical vision from day one rather than inherit decisions made by others. You'll play a key role in defining the architecture, selecting the technology stack, and building both the platform and the engineering team around it.
• Design the architecture of a platform from scratch.
• Define scalable, cloud-native, distributed systems.
• Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources.
• Communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Make technical decisions and establish engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar to improve engineering productivity.
• Understand modern AI application concepts such as RAG, LLM integrations, Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph, or similar frameworks (hands-on model training is not required).

• Azure & Azure OpenAI (or equivalent experience with AWS/GCP)
• Python or Java
• REST APIs & Microservices
• Docker, Kubernetes & CI/CD
• PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• AI tooling, RAG & LLM integration
• Data integration and cloud-native architecture
