What you’ll do
- Design and develop a production-ready SNMPv3 monitoring agent
- Implement SNMP monitoring for system health, hardware telemetry and device inventory
- Develop and maintain a custom enterprise MIB, including indexed tables
- Implement SNMP traps/notifications for system events and state changes
- Develop and maintain the agent as a Windows background service
- Ensure compatibility with Windows Server 2022/2025 and Windows 10/11 Enterprise/IoT
- Implement secure and reliable operation in isolated or segmented OT networks
- Develop automated tests, diagnostics and technical documentation
- Design the solution for long-term maintenance and future platform variants
What you need to be successful
- Professional experience in software development, preferably systems or platform software
- Strong experience with C/C++
- Good knowledge of SNMP/SNMPv3, TCP/IP, OIDs and MIBs
- Experience developing Windows services or background applications
- Understanding of network security, authentication and encryption
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
