What you’ll do

  • We are supporting a large-scale digital transformation program focused on transitioning legacy systems into a modern SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. The objective is to ensure a smooth, well-coordinated transition with minimal disruption to business operations across a complex, multi-country landscape.
  • Define and own the end-to-end transition and cutover strategy aligned with program timelines.
  • Develop and execute a detailed transition plan covering business and technical milestones.
  • Lead the full cutover workstream, including governance, testing readiness (SIT/UAT), and environment readiness.
  • Coordinate execution of all transition activities, including data migration and system cutovers.
  • Ensure alignment across business, IT, and external partners for a controlled and risk-mitigated transition.
  • Manage dependencies across systems, data, processes, and business functions.
  • Define and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure readiness for go-live, including cutover rehearsals, mock runs, and “Day 1” scenarios.
  • Establish and oversee hypercare support, user readiness, and adoption of new systems/processes.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership

What you need to be successful

  • 0+ years experience in transition and cutover for large-scale ERP or transformation programs.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Deep understanding of SIT, UAT, and Cutover Rehearsal cycles, including multi-cycle planning.
  • Strong knowledge of data readiness concepts (ETL cycles, reconciliation, catalogue creation, data quality risks).
  • Experience with data migration and data readiness activities within complex transformations.
  • Solid understanding of master and transactional data domains (products, vendors, POs, inventory, pricing, finance).
  • Proven experience working in complex multi-system environments, including legacy systems and integrations.
  • Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-country environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • High resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Structured thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive risk management and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
