What you’ll do
- We’re looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Azure. You will develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks, working with Delta Lake and cloud data architectures. The role involves data modeling, schema evolution, and migration across distributed systems, while ensuring high performance and reliability of data flows. Strong expertise in Python, T-SQL, and the Azure data stack (Data Lake, Cosmos DB) is essential, along with experience in DevOps practices and data pipeline optimization. Exposure to Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Design and implement data processes (e.g. ADF Pipelines, Databricks)
- Data Models developing and versioning
- Work with cloud-based data infrastructures (Azure)
- Development & execution of schema + data migration
- Optimizing ETL performance
What you need to be successful
- Technical knowledge (Programming languages, Databases and Frameworks)
- Data modelling concepts and techniques (data warehouse, transactional)
- Databricks & Delta Lake, Python, PowerShell, MS SQL Server, T-SQL
- A good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB
- A good working knowledge of DevOps, Testing, Operating and Optimizing complex data flows.
- Technical knowledge (Programming languages, Databases and Frameworks)
- PowerBI
