What you’ll do
- Contribute to building the software platform for the next generation of energy automation products, including wallboxes, controllers, mobile applications, and IoT cloud solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and modular software components following best practices such as Domain-Driven Design and actor-based architectures
- Develop and integrate IoT gateway functionalities, including communication with embedded systems, cloud services, and external devices
- Implement and maintain integrations using protocols such as WebSocket/JSON and REST APIs for communication with cloud platforms, web, and mobile applications
- Contribute to system features such as load management algorithms, data collection, and control logic for energy delivery
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- At least 5 years of professional experience with Java projects
- Enterprise application integration patterns and principles
- Modular and Microservices architectures
- Skilled in working with Linux and Bash/Python scripting
- Deep understanding of such as coding best practices, debugging, unit tests, and version control
- Experience with working with resource constraint-embedded systems (eg. ARM Cortex A5) would be a plus
