What you’ll do

  • The mission of the Technical Delivery Manager is to maximize the value delivered to retail clients by ensuring that the teams they coordinate deliver high-quality, scalable, and customer-centric technology solutions, in line with the services agreement.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to team members
  • Observe individual performance and provide structured feedback to direct managers
  • Support onboarding of new colleagues into retail projects and client contexts
  • Organize periodic 1-to-1 discussions to identify best practices, improve delivery processes, and enhance consultancy input
  • Participate in the Performance Management process and provide feedback to Engineering leadership
  • Ensure team members maintain a high level of technical competence and operational excellence
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that promotes innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Establish effective communication with retail client stakeholders to monitor performance and delivered value
  • Handle and resolve delivery and stakeholder escalations
  • Identify opportunities to extend and organically grow retail engagements (e.g. new features, channels, or platforms)
  • Oversee engagement progress in terms of timeline, resources, and cost tracking
  • Contribute to defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Ensure deliverables meet both technical requirements and retail business objectives (customer experience, performance, scalability)
  • Manage planned and unplanned team resizing
  • Act as an integrator with internal functions (Engineering, QA, Architecture, Sales, Finance)
  • Monitor and report on defined KPIs
  • Manage the engagement governance process

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum 2 years (preferably 5+) of experience operating at Manager level in a technology organization
  • Good understanding of technologies used within delivery teams
  • Experience delivering solutions in Retail, E-commerce, Consumer Digital, or Omnichannel environments
  • Understanding of retail business concepts such as customer journeys, sales channels, promotions, loyalty, or order management
  • Basic financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
  • Strong soft skills: Communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Organizational and time management, Strong alignment with rinf.tech values and core behaviors
  • Experience in companies offering software development or IT consulting services
  • Formal education or training in people management
  • Hands-on experience in software development using Java, .NET, or other programming languages
  • Exposure to retail platforms such as e-commerce systems, POS, CRM, loyalty platforms, or Data Analytics solution
