What you’ll do

• We are looking for a Backend Engineer to take ownership of our backend architecture and lead a technical team. This role sits at the intersection of robust system design and rapid AI implementation. You will be the technical lead for our digitalization efforts, with a heavy focus on AI-driven projects, moving from PoC to production-grade integrated pipelines.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead the backend team through technical challenges, conduct high-standard code reviews, and maintain the integrity of our codebase.
• AI-Centric Development: A large portion of your roadmap will involve AI-related projects. You will architect the backend systems that power our GenAI and ML initiatives.
• Service Architecture: Design and build scalable Microservices and APIs using modern Python frameworks.
• Workflow Orchestration: Implement and manage a general orchestrator to handle distributed task dependencies, complex data workflows, and the business logic connecting our internal apps.
• Systems & API Integration: Build deep integrations between internal applications and external systems to ensure seamless data flow across the organization.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure: Define and maintain basic CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Note: Full infrastructure and environment management is provided and supported by our dedicated Infra team.
• Digitalization & PoCs: Lead the technical execution of internal digitalization projects, building the integrated pipelines necessary to automate manual processes

What you need to be successful

• Core: Strong experience with Python.
• Architecture: Proven experience with Microservices and REST API design.
• Orchestration: Hands-on experience with general orchestration engines for managing complex, multi-stage workflows.
• Data & Persistence: Strong SQL/NoSQL skills and experience managing data flow between disparate systems.
• Tooling: Experience with Docker and standard CI/CD workflows.
• AI/ML Tooling: Experience with GenAI and Machine Learning workflows.
• Digitalization: Experience transforming manual business logic into automated, code-driven workflows.
