What you’ll do

• Understand the business requirements, functional analysis, and change tasks.
• You will ensure products/services are built using the most effective quality engineering techniques to meet technical, business, and operational objectives.
• You will ensure that the design and engineering decisions consider key quality engineering criteria such as testability, operability, maintainability, user experience etc.
• You will leverage risk-based quality engineering techniques to provide fast feedback early in development (shift-left) and in live production environments (shift-right).
• Develop test plans, design comprehensive test cases, and provide estimates for testing activities.
• Execute (both manual and automated) sanity and functional/non-functional tests (performance, accessibility, acceptance).
• Update, maintain, and refine integration and regression test plans to reflect changes and newly identified test cases throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Report, document and track defects, working closely with the development team to fix them and validate provided solutions.
• You can report risks and observations and identify areas where further testing may be required.
• Contribute as an active team member to ongoing process improvements, fostering a collaborative, sustainable working pace and a continuous development culture.
• Provide support for production and UAT incidents.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing a strong quality engineering perspective.

What you need to be successful

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with demonstrated proficiency in test planning, execution, and maintenance of clear and effective test documentation.
• Good understanding and experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, showcasing the ability to adapt to rapid development cycles and an iterative approach to testing.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• You can take on tasks of small/medium complexity with limited support and have a proactive attitude.
• High standards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust.
• Exceptional English communication skills ensuring clear and effective exchange of information.
• Interest in continuous career development.
• Proven experience in manual testing methodologies.
• You are familiar with at least one major Cloud Platform like AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Basic scripting or object-oriented programming skills (C# - preferred, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases and query writing.
• Basic understanding of Git version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within deployment workflows in tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Hands on experience testing APIs.
• Nice to have
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered as an alternative.
• Competent in at least one programming language (such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, C#) relevant to test automation.
• You have exposure to both UI (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright) and API test automation tools (Postman/Rest Assured). Experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for end-to-end and UI automation testing is an advantage.
• GenAI tools and applications.
