What you’ll do
- Define and maintain Data Governance policies, standards, and processes
- Establish and operate a governance framework (Glossary, Data Quality, RDM, Lineage)
- Align data definitions and standards with business and technical stakeholders
- Maintain business glossary, data dictionary, data quality rules, and reference data
- Monitor compliance and data quality KPIs; support governance forums
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders
- Support data-related initiatives across the organization
What you need to be successful
- 2–3 years experience as Data Governance Analyst within financial services projects
- 2–3 years proven business knowledge in financial services / banking
- Experience in Data Governance or Data Management, ideally in financial services
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts (Glossary, DQ, RDM, Lineage)
- Ability to translate business requirements into governance standards
- Hands-on experience querying databases (SQL or similar)
- Strong communication skills; ability to work independently in long-term engagements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
