What you’ll do

  • Identify, pursue, and close new AI opportunities
  • Develop relationships with mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Own the sales cycle: Qualification → Discovery → Proposal → Negotiation → Close
  • Sell AI offerings including:
  • AI-enhanced engineering capacity
  • AI applications and copilots
  • AI model licensing
  • AI consultancy and PoCs
  • Conduct structured business discovery to identify AI use cases and ROI drivers
  • Understand customer data maturity, processes, and digital landscape
  • Collaborate with AI Sales Engineers to validate feasibility and scope
  • Translate technical capabilities into business value narratives
  • Shape solution approaches, delivery models, and pricing structures
  • Develop proposals, SOWs, and commercial frameworks
  • Structure PoCs with clear success criteria and commercial follow-up paths
  • Build and maintain a qualified AI pipeline in CRM
  • Forecast revenue and deal progression accurately
  • Manage stakeholders (technical, procurement, legal, executive sponsors)
  • Provide structured market feedback to AI delivery and leadership
  • Contribute to refining AI value propositions and packaging
  • Identify repeatable use cases and vertical opportunities

What you need to be successful

  • 5–10+ years in B2B new business sales
  • Proven track record selling complex IT services or technology solutions
  • Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with engineering or product teams
  • Technical Literacy: Software development lifecycle (SDLC), Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP basics), Data pipelines and analytics concepts, LLMs, generative AI, copilots, and AI use cases
  • Ability to discuss: AI architectures at a conceptual level, Data requirements and limitations, Token-based pricing and AI cost drivers, Integration into enterprise systems
  • Can conduct a semi-technical discovery without an engineer present
  • Can translate AI technical concepts into business value
  • Can identify unrealistic AI expectations and push back
